The owner of the property Mr. Phillips (at the right) and his brother are in front of his Afro-Brazilian property. A beautiful simple façade with wooden widows. An interesting marginal detail on the photo (bottom center) is a piece from the former railway track from the street. Mr. Phillips placed the piece there decades ago for no reason after the removal of the rails from the street.
