  • The owner of the property Mr. Phillips (at the right) and his brother are in front of his Afro-Brazilian property. A beautiful simple façade with wooden widows. An interesting marginal detail on the photo (bottom center) is a piece from the former railway track from the street. Mr. Phillips placed the piece there decades ago for no reason after the removal of the rails from the street.

Upon completion, the new peninsula which is still under development is anticipating at least 250,000 residents and a daily flow of 150,000 commuters.
